That's really cool! I'm curious: the soil there seems to be either red or yellow, which is quite different from the varying shades of brown we see here -- I guess that means the soil over there has a lot of water and iron oxides, but why? Any ideas?
ReplyDeleteHey Bill! The soil here is definitely red and as a result so are the bottoms of my shoes! Google tells me red soil is due to iron and aluminum plus heat and intense rainfall. This area definitely fits that description!
